Torsión explores the instant a form seems to defy gravity, sustained solely by the force of its own transformation. The surface flows, turns, and twists in a continuous ribbon where deep blue, black, and violet converse between light and shadow.
Made entirely with colored pencils on paper, the artwork is part of Ale Saiz's visual language: an exploration of fluidity, energy, and matter's ability to adopt impossible forms without losing its apparent naturalness.
More than representing an object, Torsión invites contemplation of movement as a permanent state.
